Attendance is typically capped and you will need to RSVP to guarantee your spot.

2025 Event Details

This year's event will be held at the Hymowitz's in Elkridge, MD.
Space is limited, so you must RSVP to Michelle@nasalinux.net if you would like to attend. Exact location details will be given at that time.

When you RSVP, please indicate what you would like to bring to contribute to the meal and whether you wish to participate in the white elephant gift exchange. Help with setup is also appreciated.

The White Elephant (a GCOM Holiday Party tradition) will be held around 5pm, followed by a potluck dinner around 6 pm.

How does the White Elephant Gift Exchange work?

Bring a gaming-related gift that costs between $15 - $30 that is fully wrapped. Everyone that participates will receive a gift to take home. If you plan to participate in the gift exchange, please be sure to arrive by 5 pm.

To begin, we draw a name out of a hat and that person chooses a gift from the table to open. Then they draw the next name out of the hat and so on -- but if the next person wants to they can "steal" someone else's gift instead of taking a new one from the table. The only other rule is that a gift cannot be "stolen" more than 3 times. Everyone participating will get to take home a gift (hopefully other than the one they came with).

You do not have to participate in the White Elephant Gift Exchange to attend.
